The Canadian Nuclear Society and Hungarian Nuclear Society wish to promote the peaceful uses of nuclear science and technology, and with this objective, wish to encourage co-operation between the two Societies and friendly exchanges between their members.

 The existing agreement was renewed for 5 years in April 2014 by Dr. Adriaan Buijs (CNS president) and Dr. Zoltán Hózer (HNS president).
