A VVER reaktorcsalád új fejlesztési iránya: a spektrális szabályozású VVER-S

A VVER reaktoroknál a spektrális teljesítményszabályozás új koncepció, fő előnye a takarékos természetes urán felhasználás mellett a bóros szabályozás visszaszorítása, ami a folyékony radioaktív hulladék mennyiségének csökkentését eredményezi. Ez elsőként a közepes teljesítményű VVER-S-600 típusban valósul meg, amelyhez a jó gyártási és üzemeltetési referenciával rendelkező VVER-1200 főberendezéseit alkalmazzák kéthurkos kialakítással. A Kolai Atomerőműben létesülő VVER-S-600 prototípus a tervezett 2035. évi üzembehelyezés okozta időkényszer miatt kompromisszumos, átmeneti megoldásokkal valósulhat meg. A VVER-S-600 blokkok beruházásának gazdaságossága a VVER-1200-hoz és a VVER-TOI-hoz viszonyítva – publikus adatok hiányában – nehezen megítélhető. Építésük fő indoka a villamoshálózati korlátokkal rendelkező, távoli gazdasági körzetek energiaellátásának biztosítása.

VVER-S reactor with spectral regulation – a new development initiative within the VVER reactor family

The spectral power regulation is a new concept of the VVER reactors. Its main advantages are the more efficient natural uranium consumption and minimization of boron regulation resulting in reduced volume of liquid radioactive waste. The VVER-S-600 reactor type with two loops will be firstly implemented with such approach utilizing the main equipment of VVER-1200 units having good references of production and operating experience. The pilot VVER-S-600 unit will be constructed at Kola NPP site with compromises and temporary solutions due to the time constraint induced by the planned startup in 2035. In lack of public data, it is difficult to judge the economic viability of VVER-S-600 type compared to VVER-1200 and VVER-TOI types. The main reason for construction of VVER-S-600 is to secure energy supply of remotely located industrial regions with electric power grid limitations
